ParaNet Case
The Paranet training case provides a unique solution to the problem of charging multiple numbers of netbooks and is a convenient alternative to conventional laptop carts. Managing netbooks has never been easier.
The increasing popularity of netbooks is the inspiration behind the design of the unique PARANET case. The PARANET holds and charges up to sixteen netbooks and with the installed Access Point* it allows connectivity of the netbooks to a network.
Wheels and an extendable handle allow the PARANET to be easily moved from room to room, and from location to location; this means it can be used in locations away from the school or college premises, in rural or urban areas.
Configure one of the Netbooks as a File Server, attach a small USB hard drive, and you have a networked system that can operate in the middle of Devon moorland, or a Lake District hill top. Add a 3G card and you’re onto the web!
Netbooks are ideal for certain applications. They are less expensive and smaller than conventional laptops. But how do you manage them if a laptop cart is too big and you want to use them in different locations – even outdoors?

- Using the optional integrated access point* all devices in the vicinity of the case can be connected to the WLAN network. A built-in RJ 45 plug connects the case with the building’s network.
- The integrated trolley makes the case easy to transport. It can also be moved up and down stairs within a building and even from one training course to the next by car.
- A fixture for standard padlocks means the case is also easy to lock.
